A Note to Sardis Woods Parents
Parents, do you know where your kids are in our neighborhood, and what they're
doing? We're sorry to say that some parents don't, and unsupervised teens and
pre-teens are getting into mischief. Parents, you ARE responsible for your kids'
actions, so it will be a lot easier for you and for your kids if you accept that
responsibilty now, and take action to monitor their behavior, than to wait and
have the court hold you responsible.
Bylaws Adopted
Feb 21, 2010: At a meeting of the Governing Body of Sardis Woods Neighborhood Watch Association, the
bylaws of the organization were formally adopted.
This is an important step in qualifying our organization as tax-exempt, enabling us to receive matching
grants from the City of Charlotte for neighborhood projects. See the complete meeting notes
here.
Daycare Information Needed
Some of our neighbors need information on in-home day care facilities within our neighborhood. If you are operating a
day care in your home, PLEASE
contact us with the following information:
Contact information (name, address, phone number, email, website, etc.), whether you are currently accepting new clients,
and (very important!) whether or not we may give out any of this information (a) individually to inquiring neighbors, and
(b) to the public on this website. Any information you provide us will NOT be distributed and/or published without your
permission!
Thanks for keeping us informed.
