Sardis Woods has been blessed with many friends who make a real difference in our community. One of our best friends over the years has been Dan Callahan, a real estate professional and former neighbor, who has made Sardis Woods his special project, not just for sales efforts, but far more for community development and involvement. Dan has made a huge difference in the quality of life in Sardis Woods!!!

Here is Dan, with his office assistant Cori, greeting one of our neighbors on Dump and Donate Day, which Dan has sponsored for several years. Dan provides a dumpster for the neighborhood, and assistance unloading items brought in for disposal or donation. The “donate” part of the event benefits Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore.

Dan’s support for our neighborhood is not limited to this annual event. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Sardis Woods Neighborhood Association. Dan has provided the street signs we use to notify the neighbors of various events, and is always a major participant in our National Night Out festivities. Cori is every bit as dedicated as Dan to our events, and is always here to help out!
